DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SY-35 AND TG-33/SY-22

                 -----------------------------------------



   Here are the main differences between theese three synthesizers:


   - The TG-33 is a module, while SY-22 and SY-35 are keyboard synths.



   - The TG-33 is 16 part multitimbral and is 32 notes max polyphonic, 

     while SY-22 and SY-35 are 8 part multitimbral and 16 notes max 

     polyphonics.



   - The TG-33 has two Stereo Outputs, while SY-22 and SY-35 have only one

     Stereo Output.



   - The SY-35 and SY-22 have a Foot Volume jack, and a Sustain pedal jack, 

     and the TG-33 doesnt have it.



   - The TG-33 has only a 16x2 LCD, while SY-22 and SY-35 have the LCD and

     two 7-segments LED Displays.



   - The TG-33 has an Effect Bypass switch, a utility button and a Data Entry

     Wheel. The TG-33 does not have Modulation nor Pitch Bend Wheels. From 

     the TG-33 front panel you can change the MCD64 bank by pressing a button. 

     Theese are the TG-33 utility sections: System, MIDI, Card. And here are

     the SY-35/SY-22's: Recall, Setup, MIDI. 



   - The TG-33 can receive independent SySex mesagges for each voice 

     parameter, while SY-22 and SY-35 need to receive the whole voice to 

     change a parameter.



   - The SY-22 and SY-35 have the half banks than the TG-33.



   - The TG-33 has a effect send level parameter that SY-35 and SY-22 does 

     not have.



   - The SY-35 has extended waveform ROM and does not the SY-22 and TG-33. If 

     Im not wrong, the SY-35 has 16 bit samples, while TG-33 and SY-22 have 

     only 12 bit samples.

   

   - The SY-22 Internal bank is empty, while SY-35's is preprogrammed. In

     consecuence, the SY-35 has a Factory Internal Voice & Multi Restore 

     Function that the SY-22 has not.



   - The SY-35 AWM waveform list is different to SY-22 and TG-33's list.

     Here is the SY-35 AWM waveform list. Its very usefull for TG-33 and 

     SY-22 owners, because this list is the main cause of incompatibility

     between SY-35 and TG-33/SY-22. If you load a SY-35 voice into your 

     SY-22 or TG-33 and It doesnt so good you must compare the voice 

     AWM waveforms with this list. If there is a waveform that doesnt appears

     in this list, this voice is incompatible with SY-22 and TG-33.

     For SY-35 owners I will also include the SY-22 waveforms list. I dont

     have the TG-33 waveform list, but I think its the same than SY-22's list.
